GW2 Every Piece Matters missing suspects achievement guide

GW2 Every Piece Matters achievement guide with instructions on locating the missing suspects as part of the Dragon Bash festival. This achievement is in two parts, one one part obtainable on June 19 and the final part obtainable on June 20.

Prerequisite

You must have completed Hard Boiled first by visiting Marjory Delaqua in The Dead End in Eastern Commons section of Divinity’s Reach. Return to Inspector Kiel in Grand Piazaa of Lion’s Arch after to enter another single player instance that will start this achievement.

Be sure to talk to Marjory again while inside this second instance (Scene of the Crime) to obtain an investigation kit (Tassi Box). You will then need to use it on Mai Trin, human, grawl, norn, and asura representatives.

You need to target them and put the circle from the Tassi Box under them. If you have fast casting ground AoE option on, then you need to stand on top of the NPCs, target them and activate it.

yep… same for me 🙁 its bugged, doesnt work when i try on alts, not even when i go to divinity’s reach again first

Having the same problem. I’ve tried everyone’s suggestions.

Edit: I’ve tried doing it with an alt, destroying my kit, all that jazz. Nothing works.

I’ve tried 2 different characters and done this, neither have worked and still getting the “leave” option :/

Thanks Dulfy, you need more than a hp-sponge boss as tribute to the hard work you do for the community 🙂

^ some people forget that they have to go back to LA and investigate the crime scene, then ur able to talk to them

I know this might sound crazy, but did you check your task sheet and see if maybe you’ve already done Vorrk? It’s super easy to miss the acknowledgement that you’ve correctly done him. There’s a total of 5, so if you know how many you’ve done, you should be able to see on the progress bar that tracks talking to them all and see if he’s been counted. I only say this because *after* you do your thing with Vorrk, you only get the “leave” option.

I think the range is bugged on that thing. It seems that it only works from a single range, probably the max range only. I just walked back from the NPC’s while spamming 1 until it worked

So you say the rest is unlocked tomorrow but if you go back to the crime scene an talk to the one person standing in the entrance she tells you where the other two are. Snowden Drifts:lost child’s sorrow camp. and Caledon forest:Rowenwoods. Though if you go to those places no npc is marked on the map. I’m a bit confused.

Guys, we can’t talk to the last two in Snowden and Caledon today. They’ve spread out these achievements over the last few days, so the final two will be available tomorrow morning. While you might in fact find them in Snowden and Caledon, you will not be able to complete the achievement.

Also, Dulfy- I love your guides! If ever I’m in question, I come here 🙂 Thanks for putting all the time and work into keeping these so updated!! They really help out!

completed the first Suspect just fine, but the other 2 did not work for me, neither of them left their location and nothing updated. Will try destroying the kit and getting it again

ah tyvm I did not even think to look at the achievement total…just was expecting them to move, or do something other than stand there with thumbs(flippers) up asses.

so i destroyed my kit like your site says, now i cant get back into the instance nor can i get a new kit…..thx.

I’ve been searching non-stop, trying to figure out why I can’t talk to the last two. Thanks to you, I can finally be at peace. lol

one step missing:

You must have completed Hard Boiled first by visiting Marjory Delaqua in The Dead End in Eastern Commons section of Divinity’s Reach. Return to Inspector Kiel in Grand Piazaa of Lion’s Arch after to enter another single player instance that will start this achievement.

Be sure to talk to Marjory again while inside this second instance (Scene of the Crime) to obtain an investigation kit (Tassi Box). You will then need to use it on Mai Trin, human, grawl, norn, and asura representatives.

THEN you need to talk to Kiel again and hopefully you will have the reward.

What is the point, a crappy achievement, in a chain of them, with some useless reward at the end like the fail smoldering gloves?

No Thanks,

Think of it like this. Don’t want to deal with the grind of getting 300 of this 250 of this or 150 of this or even 100k of this? This is an alternative way to get 8 achievements for the wings. Avoid the grind. I’d rather do this than grind out the other achievements.

I’d rather just pay 5s to get 100 taffys on the TP & cash them in for the wings lol! ;-p
Same with the 250 you have to scarf down :).

Your guides are fabulous, Duffy. If I screwed up conversations with Kaspark can I fix it? He won’t talk to me anymore.

Hmm I usually would tell you to delete the investigation kit and talk to Kiel again to enter the instance but apparently there is another bug that prevent you from entering the instance. So I am not sure anymore.

No doubt tomorrow’s installment requires you to return to Lion’s Arch and interact with Inspector Kiel but doing so after you talk to today’s two suspects is a wasted trip as nothing new transpires.

All ive heard about is that there will be a new “permanent instance” on the 25th. I think the story part is over?

Hey Ppl I chose wrong option dialogue with Morraloo, I choose the last one and now he did not want to go to Lion Arch. What to do ?? Please help

Check the progress of the Every Piece Matters. I really don’t think the option you choose has anything to say. Morraloo never moved for me either. But my achievement still progressed.
I didn’t notice any of the characters actually moving when I think about it.

No its not that, Its do not gave me complete sentence when I use the last one dialog option. This quest is bugged for me now. Its a pity 🙁
