SWTOR CZ-198 Daily missions guide

A guide to the daily missions available in CZ-198, the new daily area introduced with SWTOR Patch 2.3.

Getting there

CZ-198 can be accessed from your personal starship. It is located in Unknown Regions. Alternative, you can travel there by purchasing a legacy quick travel option which costs 150k credits and requires legacy level 5.

There should be a mission terminal near you landing area  that allow you to pick up new daily missions.

Rewards

Completing dally missions in the CZ-198 area earn you items that grant reputation with the CZ-198 reputation vendors, which are called Ordnance Acquisition Corps on the Empire side and The Adjudicators on the Republic side.

[DAILY] Staff Cuts

swtor-daily-staff-cuts-cz-198

Objective: Defeat 35 Czerka forces. Pretty much the most straightforward daily mission. Not much can be said about this.

[DAILY] Droid Demolition

Reward: 2 Basic Commendations, CZ-198 Lab reports (green reputation item), 8730 credits

swtor-daily-droid-demolition-cz-198-reward

Objective: Destroy 5 Droid Containers.

swtor-daily-droid-demolition-cz-198-map

These containers look like this and they should have a clickable button on their side unless they have being destroyed recently. When there are a lot of people running around this mission can be a bit tedious since the respawn on these containers is a bit slow. It takes 4 seconds to plant the charges and if you get hit you have to start over.

  • Note: Each container have 2 buttons you can click. Destroying one doesn’t affect the other.  Always check both as this can save you from running around too much. If you see one of the button is red, this means that it was destroyed recently.

Objective

  • Find a way to bring down the force field
  • Repair the Power Junction Box
  • Activate the Flow Controls
  • Acquire Anti-Venom
  • Defeat Project DS-5
  • Acquire the Anti-Venom (again)

To bring down the force field, look up and you should see a large pipe above you that you can attack.

swtor-daily-anti-toxin-acquisition-cz-198

Project DS-5 has red circles that you should avoid and will periodically disappear to spawn tentacle adds. You must kill these tentacle adds as you cannot damage Project DS-5 while they are alive. These tentacles will also grapple you if they get a chance. Once both tentacles are killed, Project DS-5 returns with a well telegraphed conal slam that deals quite a lot of damage if you fail to avoid it.

  • David Pielmeier

You do such amazing work Dufly! Good write-up!

  • DarkTemplar

You’re a life saver, as usual, Dulfy. Thank you very much for all your time and efforts.

  • mlambros

Only 4 Dailies and no Heroic?

    • http://dulfy.net/ Dulfy

Nope, I guess the flashpoints can count as heroic (can be soloed on storymode at least)

      • Tim

What gear rating do you need to be in to solo the flashpoints?

        • http://dulfy.net/ Dulfy

I am in most Kell Dragon and I soloed it pretty easily but I would you want to have underworld maybe. Your companion need some good gear too.

          • Kris

If you are in combination of 72 and 69 items, can it still be soloed?

  • David Pielmeier

Dulfy, can you give me a time estimate for doing all 4 dailies? How long to complete them on a DPS specced toon? Also, how long do the 2 Flashpoints take to complete? Thank you in advance!

    • http://dulfy.net/ Dulfy

Assuming you don’t need to wait for respawns, 15-20 minutes for all 4 dallies sounds reasonable. For flashpoints it took me maybe 20 minutes each soloing so might be faster in a group (storymode).

      • David Pielmeier

As always, you are awesome! Thanks for the info.

Dulfy, doing the math, (12000 cap – 1584 weekly) / 1188 daily > 7 ie you cannot hit the weekly reputation max of 12000 even IF you do the weekly and the daily every day of the week. Are we left to grind the flashpoints to make up the difference? Thanks!

    • http://dulfy.net/ Dulfy

If you have alts you can also get to the weekly cap

  • Spetsnaz

All those misions are in an Open Zone where everyone fights for theyr own or all is instanced?

    • http://dulfy.net/ Dulfy

      Open zone

  • silas

[DAILY] Anti-Toxin Recovery give you more credits on empire , or just a typo?

  • isadorr

u sure u dont work for bioware? oustanding stuff

    • SWTOR Fanboy

Yea; great work as always, dulfy! :)

  • Avernous

Where is the starting mission? Surely there is some intro to the storyline.. right?

    • Lickintoad

Strangely, the story mission for CZ-198 starts on CZ-198. That sounds facetious until you get the mission, and the droid has you go back to the fleet to talk to someone there, who then sends you back to CZ-198. Those droids need to be moved to the fleet in an update soon.

      • Zak

There’s already a Droid in the GTN area that gives you the Titans of Industry quest.

        • Lickintoad

Weird. I ran through the entire station and the Gav Daragon. The only quest icons I saw were from terminals and flashpoint/operation couriers.

          • Zak

It’s a Flashpoint Courier, so that makes sense.

            • Sandman

Anyone knows the name of the droid?

              • Angolwen

On the imperial fleet it’s C-E29, on the republic side RK-C3. They are both in the same position relative to the GTN. When you’re standing in the GTN area facing towards the center of the station they’re at the stairs to the very right. Hope that helps.

  • Jamie

where is the starting questline for this place

  • Altaholic

Maybe I’ve missed them before but I’ve never seen an Artifact Gear Container until I got one for finishing “[WEEKLY] Czerka Dissolution”. I am wondering if there is another way to get them for gearing up those unused and neglected companions.

    • http://dulfy.net/ Dulfy

You can get one as one time reward for the questline that leads you to fleet and then to the two flashpoints. Titans of Industry is the name and starts with the courier droid near the shuttle.

  • Pan40k

By the way, CZ Flashpoints do not count for weekly if you run it SM through GF (4 men PUG), i managed to finish it only when i find a mate and we 2-men run them entering through the gate

  • Confused

So, are Blue rep tokens for CZ drop only? Because I’ve been running the missions and FP and haven’t received any.

    • Aeonis

      You’ll get the blues randomly from the 2 FP’s and/or weekly :)

  • mlambros79

Dulfy, do you think these Dailies can be done by level 50~54 with decent gear?

    • http://dulfy.net/ Dulfy

Probably, they are not too terribly hard.

  • Maniek

Did anyone get a bug where it doesn’t accept one of the dailies for the weekly?
I’ve done ‘Manual Shutdown’ 3 times and the weekly still says I have to complete it.
