Hello, gear concepts. As usual, amazing speed Dulfy. 😀
Ahahaha I just got home from this and was looking for the contact info to send it in! Starfighter was a lot of fun to play. I’m excited by the customization they showed and how extensible the system looks to be.
They gave us alot of info tonight, it was a fun time.
Was it like War Thunder then? Is it the same game mechanics. Thanks
Space Mining Droid? New pet?
Not sure, it is listed under Galactic Starfighter folder though and not cartel market
They serve as color for the asteroid belt GS warzone.
Or you can mine in space!
🙂
The gelactic starfighter als have an astro droid…

-Also, Public Testing coming up this weekend.
and I assume everything you wrote above can be discussed right? Don’t want to get you in trouble if you signed a NDA or something.
Everything above should be public. No paperwork.
Cool 🙂
Yeah it’s all public, the lead dev told us that they did a press junket yesterday that included everything we saw tonight.
Cool thanks for the info 🙂
Kuat will also be dynamic meaning it changes everytime you play it
Love the Forest Gear set
Dulfy, there are a bunch of people posting information from the Q&A section of the Cantina at http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=689254&page=4 .
One of the answers references the Mysterious Ancient Tome in the Outlaw’s Den. The thread about that is at http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=667577 .
One of the coolest things is that Eric gave the stats on how many people are playing: over 10 million play occasionally, while over 1 million play per month.
Can anyone confirm and/or provide an official statement of the 10million players? Would be nice to throw in the WoW fanboy’s faces when they brag about how many players WoW has.
Well, Eric, the community manager of Bioware, said that and someone paraphrased him, so I consider it to be a paraphrase of an official statement.
Last summer, WoW announced that they only had 8 million active members, so it looks like SWTOR may have more players at first glance. However, Bioware’s definition of “active members” may be different than WoW’s.
EDIT: I meant that WoW’s definition of “active members” could be who played the last 3 months while SWTOR’s definition is who played in the last year.
Last night on Jung Ma, we had 400-500 people on the Fleet alone on a Thursday. Considering that Jung Ma is one of the 3 smallest servers and SWTOR has 17 servers and that it was a slow night, it is conceivable for SWTOR to have 1 million players that log in for at least 1 minute.
There is no room for interpretation here. Playing means playing. Whether or not the numbers are quoted correctly is another matter. I personally don’t feel the population is that big.
u have to be fukking stupid to think that swtor got 1million active players, even if wow haves 8 million active players the reason swtor is being played “ocassinally” by 9million others means they are failing alot, swtor is single player mode, the lore is what bring people and the mmo gamebplay is what makes people leave, and no i dont play neither of them anymore.
swtor (lore) – gameplay suxx, no content
wow (mmo gameplay) <– lore suxx, no new content
gw2 (new content every 2 weeks) – its not rewarding and lore rly suxx.
some one plz make a mix of this 3 mmo's
He said 10 million accounts had been made, 1 million active players a month, that’s only 10% retention, plus the gold spammers are probably eating a good 10% of that monthly number, still better than the 400k we were down to.
Very cool, but the lack of cockpit views is disturbing.
Like the trooper gear.
This all looks cool, but all I can think about now is my Commando will finally have a good armored outfit that is both light enough to look good on a type 3 body, and at the same time not bulky enough to look like the hulk. That Mountain Gear set looks great! And the Forest set is perfect for Elara. Might make a good field medic outfit with some red dye.
Who is Dipstick?
Someone who went to the cantina tour, that is his forum name
Awesome!!
Cannot wait for that new Flashpoint! 😀
I wonder if the sets shown here are going to be sold as a whole or not.
Very slick with so many graphic nods to the original trilogy. Looks like a whole new game branching out from an already addictive pvp/pve mmo that I’ve been enjoying since launch.
