    Looks like they are trying to increase TTK to accommodate all of the very loud “PvPers” who suck at GSF because GSF is actually skill based….Unfortunate.

      If so, it’ll magnify the skill component rather than decrease it. A poor player won’t be able to consistently land as many shots on targets as a good player, so they’ll end up with comparatively fewer kills than before.

      in fairness one shotting isn’t so much skill as it is “Situational awareness”

      Most of the time, shield piercing comes into play when a player’s hull is damaged but they escape long enough for their shields to regen. In my experience, this is largely the case for skilled pilots, not so much novice pilots. On the other hand, even novice pilots can land a lucky shot with heavy lasers or whatnot and kill the skilled pilot.

    I’d say it’ll just make matches last a little longer/ take a little longer to kill ppl. though I don’t get why they increased the rocket pods range, they’re deadly enough.

    I have a few complaints with GS, specifically the controls. I’m not a subscriber, so I can’t post feedback on the forum or submit any kind of ticket. But hopefully someone who can will read this and relay the message.
    1) There is a circular boundary that defines the area of the screen where you can aim the crosshair. However, you can move the mouse cursor beyond this boundary (in which case the crosshair stays at the edge of the circle and your cursor’s location is represented by a yellow dot and a gray line that leads back towards the center of the screen).
    Say you move the cursor all the way over to the left side of the screen. Your ship turns left as fast as it can. Now you’re facing your target and you want to start aiming at them. Well, first you have to move the cursor (which is hard to see in the chaos of a dogfight) all the way back over to the middle of the screen before you can even start aiming the crosshairs at your target. This takes a lot of getting used to. I think it would be better if the cursor could simply not go outside the bounds of that circle.
    Though, maybe this would make turning too sensitive.

    2) For bleep’s sake, please give us an option to make the gunship’s ‘aim mode’ a hold instead of a toggle, so that the railgun overlay only appears while I’m holding down RMB and goes away when I release it.

    3) The tutorial level does a poor job of teaching you GS. It doesn’t even attempt to explain many mechanics, such as how aiming closer to the center of a targeting circle equates to a higher chance of hitting, how adjusting engine/blaster/shield power works, etc.

    Not really sure if this is the correct place to post the request, but are there any plans to make a bomber guide like you did the gunship and scout guides? Those were very helpful for those of us who don’t do PTS, even if it’s just a basic description of what worked well together.
