The new CM guy Tait said he (or she?) was going to make it a priority to try to get the devs to fix those, so hopefully we’ll see more soon.

Fingers crossed – though speak to the devs at the London Cantina a while back they said it would take a lot to get it all sorted out as it’s not just simply fixing a line of code…

I would have thought Rakghouls tomorrow since they teased it on Facebook today. Guess not. Whatever this gives me a chance to max out my BBA rep before the new one drops.

And yet MORE gunship garbage. Give it a rest already. Dear god. What a waste of time and resources. Why can’t they put that kind of effort into other things? Yes, I understand some people really like GS, but this is getitng tired with every update and pack the past month or so being GS stuff.

The actual joke is that most WinXP user don’t even have sound in the GS.
Instead of fixing this, they just randomly add more and more sh*t to the GS.

They said on the forums that they are currently investigating issues with sound drivers on Windows XP and GS.

Do you know how hard it is to fix issues with an operating system that Microsoft will stop supporting this Spring? Or how hard it is to fix driver issues overall? It is much easier to add new items to GS or fix problems with layout of maps and skill abilities than trying to force an old system that should not be used anymore and probably is below the minimum specs to work with your game.

Maybe it’s time to upgrade your nearly 13 year old operating system rather than being upset with developers that are slow to support an OS that Microsoft themselves are ending support of? Just maybe

GS isn’t even released yet, get used to it.
It’s the newest expansion, of course they are gonna put an effort into it.
And there is ALOT more in the patch than just GS stuf, you are letting your hate blind you.

galactic starfighter is fairly incomplete the way it is. there’s no surprise they keep adding things every patch.
I don’t play it much, but I like how it presents a nice change of playability inside an MMORPG. They’re so warcraft-cookie-cutter these days.

Clever of them to add another gunship with the Prefered Access release, hoping to keep all the subscribers still playing even if they’ve maxed all their other ship upgrades. Of course, it’ll be in a gunship, which is the least favorite opponent, so maybe it won’t be so appreciated after all….

We just got a new expansion and new story content is following in its wake. So yes you are, because the rest of us are able to see that we just got what you are asking for..

That said, I would like to see more ‘personal’ story content. New class quests, companion interactions, maybe instanced player housing like they have in LOTRO and is coming to WoW. That would be pretty cool, what with the variety of planets there are to build on. I would rather see that kind of stuff happen before yet another daily theme park + raid.
