Maybe special “legendary dies” with cool effects XD or the ability to dye weapon ! (in one of the first “betas” at cologne when they showed the game, you could actually dye weapons too, and more armor detail too, for example the dyable flame of cof armor that was soon removed for god knows why xD)

Legendary dyes to follow the introduction of Chef 500 is my wishful guess, though I can only imagine the materials list!

Who in their right mind would want to relearn
all cooking recipes (from the resets they do when they release the new cap) and
spend legendary items on food that will be 5%+ better than the current cap, but cost 1000%
more in raw materials. And what would legendary dye be? Add more glow to your already glowing
armor… NO THANK YOU, cooking can rot at 400 for the rest of eternity.

why would there be a reset with a new cap? that hasn’t happened with any armor or weapon crafting to ascended–it would be insane to reset 400 levels already earned, already spent. New cap of 500 would mean leveling from 400 to 500.

I don’t understand this complaint.

There was a reset in discovered lvl400 recipes on other professions when ascended for them arrived.

Only a few recipes have been reset for other crafting disciplines capped to 500 (lvl 400 recipes if i’m correct) in order to gain experience from (re-)discovery and reach new cap faster.

Let the speculation begin:
“March 27 – Account-Bound”
dungeon/ascended armor/weapons?

etc. etc.

I also suspect WvW rank, like they did with the Fractal Level to be more alt-friendly. Shared Weapons/Armor/Dyes sound risky for markets/money-sinks to me, but I might be over skeptical. 🙂

Some of my QOL wishes would be [1] improved search/filters/UI in the Trading Post, [2] mounts, or passive speed boosts for all classes (looking at you, slow-ass guardians), [3] improved pet management/AI for rangers and necros (pets stuck on terrain, not attacking when they should or attacking when they shouldn’t, etc.), [4] account-wide map completion and dyes, [5] kill Trahearne, [6] fix telegraphing and highlight visibility for insta-death attacks, [7] larger bank tabs, and have bank tabs scale up to 500+ if you bought the collection expanders, [8] target-of-target for players, pets and mobs, [9] change downed state so mobs don’t continue to single you out and wail on you when downed, especially if pets or other players are still up (threat-dump / aggro table would be nice), [10] make pop-up boxes in fractals and elsewhere less obtrusive (not in middle of screen), and [11] let me right-click and “Use All” on stuff like luck tokens, etc.

Account-wide map completion would be a bit weird. Same for 9th wish.

I expect a lot of the “Facilitating Friendly Play” part. For instance, larger groups, true WvW squads, better interface for group management (mostly not to risk kicking ppl from my guild every time i want to invite them in a group), and so on.

Well, as someone who likes alts, it’s annoying to have some of the map completed on different characters. So if a guildie needs help in Diessa, I have to find which toon has Diessa so I can WP there. Like I said… it’s a QOL thing.

As for #9, my main is a ranger so this is very annoying, especially in fractals. If I’m downed, and my pet or groupmates are out there fighting a boss, I don’t get why I’m still targeted and beaten until total defeat. The whole point of the downed mechanic is to give you a chance to get back up, which can’t happen if mobs continue to beat on you despite other targets being available.

1. Agree, 2. 25% passive speedboost is a wasted skillslot in most cases, so go right ahead. 3. Agree, 5. Considering the Gift of Exploration I doubt they’d ever introduce account-wide mapcompletion, not even account-wide Waypoint completion. Account-wide dyes would kill one of their markets quite a bit, so best if not. 5. Right… 6. Is this a please make this game easier question? 7. Agree 8. Sounds like: “Please make this game easier, I can’t watch mobs.” 9, if you lose aggro the second you get downed it will make any bit of the game way easier. It would mean the boss would have to down all players (and pets?) before it would kill you, Unless they remove downed skill 4 you’re asking for easy-mode extreme just because your team is too dumb to bring you back up or you got downed in a difficult to revive spot. 10. Agree. 11. Agree. So I basicly agree with all Quality of Life, but disagree with anything risking markets or making the game easier, especially point 9.

I get your points, but I still disagree :p

I also like alts and it is a bit crippling at first when you do not have unlocked the whole map. However it does not take a lot of time to take running skills on your alt and unlock a few waypoints by zone to be more versatile.

Being downed has to be a risk for you and your teammates if they want to rez you. To my opinion, it is a part of the fight to think : “oh, I’m going to be downed, I have to hide/come closer to my teammates so that I can be rezzed faster.” A few professions can do that when downed (thief/elementalist, probably because of their limited survivability), but most of them can’t.

Mounts seems a futile wish. It would invalidate run skills, ranger pets, and waypoints. That being said, and despite destroying any sense of immersion, it would be funny to see everyone riding a flaming flying Black Widow Spider.
IMO they should bring back the “teammate view on death” from GW1, or the first-person camera. Awkward zoom angles going through my character’s head have proven often enough this isn’t impossible.

This is a nice pace of things to come. It sure seems a whole lot better then just some zergish living story. 572 days and still loving GW2.

Hoping for a Housing System. We have a home instance but its just too bland and you really cannot customize it as much. Need more interaction in this department, please.

I sincerely hope that March 27 means Acc bound WXP.

The stacks are such an immense advantage in WvW (a hulking 500 stats), that entirely affect your ability to be competetive and play certain classes in certain ways. It would be beyond disheartening to see the new season punish team-players who have had their WXP spread around by playing characters after group-needs.

Overall, Anet have forgone so much of their original design ideals of building broad, flexibly and socially with all the recent binds, creeps and gates on stats and gear. I hope they manage to turn that around again, and in a timely fashion.

I don’t understand. Why are they adding changes that everyone protested and none of the ones people have been asking for?

I really hope that the future blog posts will reveal things that people want. Like account-bound dyes, new weapons and a ‘Surprise! We’re not actually going to change crit damage – you think we would be that stupid?’

Account bound dyes would be nice, ANet can still sell those special dyes like Flame and Frost on the gemstore.
Hopefully they also finally add legendary weapons as account bound so I can finally use my legendary on my alts. Yeah I know about the transmutation trick but its such a hassle.

They are making legendary & ascended weapon/armor account bound so you can trade them between your characters.
