Actually, it’s largely Burning that seems to be OP. In fact, bleeds seem to be slightly weaker than before, at least with level 80 exotic gear. Which is kinda, sorta OK, given that vulnerability will also boost condition damage now. But it sucks for condi builds without major vuln stacking ability.

are you talking about gear with condition damage as primary stat? with celestial gear or any gear that cant get your condition damage stat above 700+ conditions should be weaker now. after that: more damage.

A bleed stack after the patch becomes better than a bleed stack before the patch at 2100 condition damage, not 700. Bleeds are only 5% better than before even at 3000 condition damage. A burn stack after the patch becomes better than the one stack you could have before at 300(!) condition damage. At 2000 condition damage, a single new burn stack is worth more than 2,5 old burn stacks, and you can stack them by intensity now (all according to the numbers from the wiki). So I stand by my previous assertion: Bleeds are fine, even with vulnerability factored in. Burns are OP.

As for boss mobs – it’s not as if might-stacked speed kills were a new thing. It’s just that condi build can now do it, too. I figure ANET is going to adjust boss HP over the next couple of patches.

A team with 3 eles already killed Lupicus in Arah before he could even switch phases. 100 stacks bleeding at death.

To add to it Poison does more damage (400-600 ticks with no condi gear) but it’s gimped at 8 second duration permanently it seems. Not sure how I feel about it yet. I miss torturing warriors with perma poison @ around 2min duration when throwing Spider Venom everywhere. ;/ I’m worried about them nerfing poison dmg when they re-balance condi and keeping the duration gimped and breaking it, since Anet have a habit of overnerfing things with patches that neglect what previous ones did~

Each stack of poison does about 50% to 60% of the pre-patch damage, i.e. poison and bleeding do about the same damager per stack. Poison only does more damage now than before because you stack it in intensity. And before anyone asks, I don’t have a toon with major torment stacking ability, so I have not intention to run the numbers on Torment damage.

What broke on the warrior? I notice nothing much as far as I can tell.. but I dont PvP my warrior either.

Warrior feels like crap now since your forced into a zerker build to actually be useful and just die in two hits.

Gonna stay away from this game until they balance the unbelievable mess that is anything related to pvp. Everything I used to know is worthless, everyone is spiking for absolutely RIDICULOUS amounts of damage, vigor was nerfed for some reason, some builds that didn’t need to be stronger became stronger. Horrid patch overall, inexcusable display of balance ineptitude in every regard tbh.

I know “adapting” is what people should do, and I’m all for it, except that it’s pointless to adapt to a broken version of the game that will be thoroughly changed most likely, at least I hope it does.

I don’t get it either. I play an extremely tanky bomb engineer in pvp. Bomb engineer seems to have been greatly buffed as far as I can tell. Regardless though, my engineer is melted in pvp before I can put the 4th bomb down – and no one seemed to be using conditions either? As a near full tank (who dodges a lot), the situation seems dubious.

Yeah I noticed all odd-ball “fun” builds were stripped or nerfed in this patch literally forcing people into a confined Meta. Beastmaster builds took a big hit in joint damage. Flame Thrower builds for Engineers were destroyed as well by making both the flame trait and juggernaut competing grand masters. Shield Guardians didn’t get any real buffs to functionality or support. Venom Thieves didn’t get any decent buffs to make them worth wild in pve or pvp except to just mess around and have fun.
