Park an alt, or any characters you don’t really play, at the chest in the Not so Secret jump puzzle.
Everyday open the chest and get blade shards.
That’s how I did it.

Heh, wish I could sell mine. I’ve got just over a stack of spare Blade Shards. I’ve already crafted the Static Spinal Backpiece, so I don’t need any more.
You can get sprockets also from any places you face an aetherblade: not so secret JP, middle part of EOTM, Aetherblade Fractal and Captain Mai Trin Boss Fractal and Watchwork Sprocket in your home stance.
Not so secret gives 2 blade shards per day per character. Sprocket Generator* at your home stance gives 0-3 per day.
Not so Secret gives a Minimum of 2 per day, OK it’s mostly 2 per day, but up to 14 a day per character.
Blades/Shards are easy enough to get. As people have said JP chest, or use the mining pick to get sprockets and convert to blades. Its the 3 colored cores that are insanely expensive if you want to make the colored/ascended back items.

its just random events like in gw1 when they where releasing eye of the north there was MAJOR tremors in certain areas. so it will be like that maybe some ground shakes some enemies that are not usually stuff like that

Backpacks are never dyeable
Sugarsplatter says its customizable, of course it can only mean that the stats could be picked form a pool , but maybe its dieable in some layers, ahve you tried? sorry for bothering but im at job and cant access GW2 client 🙁

Then dont know what do they mean by “Customizable Backpieces” since i dont think they would sell a Exotic/Ascended piece of gear on the cash Shop and let it be able to select it stats. but wel.. iven if its not dyeable….. INSTABUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I tried too. The art pic + what it actually looks like is mighty deceiving. Unless they haven’t added the actual dye panels because it would require more coding they haven’t finished yet. But that’s just me grasping at straws.

I looked at the datamine info for these wings and it says it’s customizable. I look at this image then the one for the cash shop and they are different colors. First dyeable back piece? Gosh I really hope so! I’d buy it in an instant!!!

If back pieces are customisable and minion logic has been fixed (plus ogre wars glitches) I’ll feel that the lack of content has been worth it. Glad I saw these wings before I bought the white wings. I think they suit zodiac better.

I suspect it might be a new weapon set in Verdant Brink. Something the Pact is forced to scavenge together from scrap after the destruction of the Pact Fleet. If my guess is right, it won’t be out till HoT.
