SWTOR Concealment Operative and Scrapper Scoundrel Class Changes for 5.4

Here are the Concealment Operative / Scrapper Scoundrel class changes for Patch 5.4 coming August 22.

Below are the upcoming changes for Concealment and Scrapper coming in Game Update 5.4.

Operative
Concealment

  • Acid Blade’s damage has been reduced by 27.78%
  • Collateral Strike’s damage has been reduced by 27.68%


Scoundrel
Scrapper

  • Flechette Round’s damage has been reduced by 27.78%
  • Flying Fists’ damage has been reduced by 27.68%


DevNotes: The Concealment / Scrapper discipline was dealing more DPS than intended, so we made a couple changes to shrink it down a bit. These changes allow the Concealment Operative / Scrapper Scoundrel to still deal decent burst damage while having their sustained damage output brought in line with the DPS target.

    Looks like a 400-500 dps loss to me. I do appreciate the specificity here vs. the vagueness in the ruffian/lethality post, though. At least we know.

      Definitely not the worst burst spec, though I agree carnage doesn’t look like it’s getting tuned down enough.

    Wait what… Concealment was never over performing. If anything, Lethality needed more nerf and concealment needed buff. Besides, shouldn’t melee classes be doing more dps than your ranged mercs/snipers?

    Not to mention the lack of defensive cooldowns….

    These guys who decide about the changes don’t play the game, they just start a RNG. This time the RNG said: 27,78.

    Haha, Bioware employees are retarded. Noobs that get their asses kicked in PvP by Operatives bitch and whine how they need to be nerfed. IDIOTS. Try playing one, it’s one of the hardest classes to play in PvP and do well with and also one of the easiest to kill. How often do you see an Operative do 4-5k DPS in an 8v8 warzone like Mara’s, jugs, Sins, PT’s, Snipers pretty much every other DPS class can pull off!? You don’t, it’s rare as hell because the class has to spend 50% of their time rolling and self healing. This class has been wrecked by nerfs over and over since 1.X. I can still get on my Merc with 3 lives and pull 5.5k DPS in a WZ lol, but Operatives need a nerf hahahahaha

    man that sucks, scrapper has been my baby since vanilla, seeing it get the short stick repeatedly over the years really breaks my heart :/
