GW2 Path of Fire Elite Specialization Skills and Traits

GW2 Path of Fire Elite Specialization Skills and Traits. This is a work in progress.

Deadeye (Thief)

The Deadeye is a thief who stalks their targets with patience and brutal accuracy. They use a Rifle to snipe at a long range, marking targets to harass them with harmful effects. Their mastery of shadow magic lets them cast cantrips which gain bonuses when used against marked targets, or as their malice increases.

Spellbreaker (Warrior)

The broken weapons of the Sunspears have become daggers in the hands of their descendants, which they use to strike at the very fabric of magic and strip it from their foes. They meditate to see past their enemies’ defenses, and they use their adrenaline to counter attacks.

Want some Wet Weaving stuff? I like swimming.

Thinking Anet had to do 6 new underwater skills, in other words 6 new skills for that which does not exist… or that which is not spoken about… oh… delicious… >:)

  • :3

Magebane tether is probably spell breaker’s saving grace with the off hand dagger skills being neat. Nothing much after that. Nice to have a cool dome for an elite skill but 90 sec CD hahaha

  • Asda

Beta server boxes didn’t give us many of the important runes/sigils to test with, and no way to get them unless you were wise enough to put them in your bank before beta weekend.. how annoying.
Anet: “Would you like a piece of delicious cake?”
    Players: “Sure!”
Anet: “There’s a rock in it though.”
Players: “Can I eat around it?”
Anet: “No you have to eat the rock too.”

    • Revenant

The expansion comes out in less than a month…stfu…

  • Detera

Master and grandmaster traits of the weaver have the same image

  • Nitrobacter

is there a voice over to tell that malice is full? at least in german there is none so far…
it would be realy disapointing if there was none since every boon has one and other special skills of other classes have some too like dying necro minions or the over heat bar of the holosmith

    • Unfortunately nope, hard to tell

    • There are voice lines for them, but they were a bit wonky in the Beta this past weekend. When you have full malice your character will sometimes say, “They won’t survive this,” or “One shot, One kill.” They also have VO when you kill a mob with malice on them. They say, “Contract complete.” There are other VO but mind you this was in English, not sure about other languages.

  • nadrian3k

I find rev both interesting and dull at the same time

    • Alot

Unicorn bombardment all the way ^^. Do agree though, nothing really stood out about the actual mechanics of the rev spec – though I conceptually like the idea of having to earn the favor of our mist buddy before they will help you.

      • nadrian3k

Yea…the concept is very cool i do agree with you.

Best classes imo (by coolness) are the elementalist (because of the complexity and variaty) and the sniper because…let’s be real it’s just cool.

        • Alot

Weaver, Sniper, Holosmith and Soulbeast are all pretty cool concepts. I feel Scourge forfeited it’s cool factor by not gaining a main hand torch or being a decay based healer – hoping its still potent though.
