It’s essentially a Mauser C96, the pistol the DL-44 is based on, but they only added the barrel modification without all the other bits.

New armours look yucky. The old ones I’m glad to see though. Some of the weapons look decent too, and the colour crystal is nice.

So that middle armor from the Twitter pic was the “Esne Fanatic” that Jedipedia had been listing for awhile. It looks better here, especially with the helmet. Now we’ll have both sisters’ armors (AIVELA > Dynamic Paladin).

It is empty, no attempt at originality, rehashed dress up dreck. If that excites you then bully. Still not content.

By definition it is content.
‘The content of something such as an educational course or a programme of action is the elements that it consists of.’

Again cupcake, if it makes you tingle then hey enjoy. Personally it is less than a joke due to all the promises they’ve been make for oh, two, going on three years now?

Hey, I like Space Barbie Dress Up. My Commando still needs a better helmet, after all. I just don’t like how they put it all in these packs instead of, I don’t know, IN THE FUCKING GAME!

Again, part of the problem. Move the CM team to another game or venture all together and hire animators, game developers, story writers and pay voice actors. In short do what is needed to create playable content. Flip flop the priority from CM to content.
Instead they maintain a healthy CM team to and produce very little of any other type of content.

The CM Team probably costs less than more animators, writers, and voice actors. Why would they pay more money to these people when the CM makes them tons of money for cheap?

Because it has been a year since they announced they were focusing on group content and the amount of that kind of content that has been released is pathetic, it’s magnified when you compare SWTOR to all the rest of the market. Their apathetic releases stand in stark contrast to the games/company’s that actually put customer satisfaction above money.
For that reason I say, the cartel market and all focus on it is a huge part of the problem. Plenty of games have a cash shop, but they do an update or 2 every quarter and “set it and forget it” SWTOR makes at least one change or update, (sometimes 2 or 3) to their cash shop every week.
It makes it painfully obvious that their real true focus is money, not a quality game. It could probably be the worst MMO on the market specifically because of this.

Since when does a normal weekly CM update (no new pack) take comparable resources to game development? I not saying that you don’t make some good points, but that last bit about weekly CM updates doesn’t work.

I imagine the Cartel Market Team is the only sector left in SWTOR that doesn’t resemble a bad 80’s sitcom. They might actually care about their product. I’d take that trait over “experience” any day and twice on Sundays.

It’s a giant, bipedal caterpillar. Those are its tiny legs.

Now we just need an Alice in Wonderland cosplay.

A nice, simple set of blasters, my favorite. Nothing weird, just standard issue blaster weapons. NO ASSAULT CANNON?!?!? Why, Bioware?! Why do you hate Commandos?! I’m tired of triple-barrel 18th century deck guns, double miniguns with spikes and laser pointers, giant tubes with tiny spinning barrels on the front, just give me a nice, clean cannon or minigun with no bullshit attached to it.

There are a couple good ones, like that old E-5 Rampage cannon and the Trainee one, but I always thought they were too big and bulky. Like, yeah, I’m a Commando, but I don’t want a tank turret on my back all the time.

Get the crafted ones…. the Custom-built Assault Cannon might be more up your alley (from an armstech on Star Forge 🙂 there are other crafted ones, too

I’ve never liked that one either, the old cannons are just barrels sticking out of a box. Trust me, I’ve been looking on TOR-Fashion for a long time. As a day one Commando, I’ve seen every variant of every cannon, and I simply cannot settle on one that I like, I can only settle on one that’s not too bad.

Always happy to see new Oriconian decos. Since I can`t have my sh on Oricon, Oriconian decos and companions will do.
Some decent looking armor sets I see here (Chaotic Force-Master’s Armor Set and Ardent Oracle’s Armor Set). The rest is ok (will have for sure new nexu pet, droid companion and colour crystal).

So more old armor that we used to be able to earn is now going to be in the Cartel market?
Sad, so very sad.
Nothing is earned anymore, its all for sale…

Or put them back in as earnable, craftable or findable pieces. Instead they put them back in, in the cash shop…

As long as I can get them again, I’m cool with whatever they choose to do tbh.

This also means unlimited copies for the account, even at level 1! I’ll settle for that!

you and people like you are ruining the game. always prepared to throw credit cards at EA for showing you some cleavage.

Da fuq?

1. I’ve only unlocked two armor sets in the last 6 months. Oh and I used credits to buy them off of the GTN and my Subscriber CC’s to unlock them in collections. I never spend *extra* money on Cartel Coins or Cartel Market items. I only use credits to obtain anything from the cartel market. Oh and I only do Collections unlocks on 50% off sales so EA gets even less of my Cartel Coins :).

2. The Centurion/ Chaotic Force-Master set doesn’t show any cleavage and I despise skimpy armor.

3. I hate EA, almost as much as Activision. This ties back into point #1 about pretty much never spending any extra cash on the Cartel Market.

It’s placed there so you can be like Luke in TLJ and drink fresh alien breast juice whenever you want 🤢

Keep in mind that his original armor was brown and lightly armored. The name of this armor also fits his character.

The mounts (the only thing I care about when it comes to cosmetic bullshit) are pretty cool. The Esne fanatic armor should have been released more than half a year ago, when Aivela and Esne were released. The names of these weapons and armor are sometimes even more ridiculous than the items themselves. That Chaotic Force Master armor set is probably one of the most ridiculous things I have seen in this game, and I have seen a lot.

90% of Dulfy updates in the last few months are about new items and cartel packs, this shows the sad state of the game currently. I wouldn’t mind getting rid of the Cartel Market, even if it meant the game shuts down, perhaps then we would get a better game in a couple of years.

I’d say it’d take an absolute minimum of 5 years to get a new Star Wars MMO up, likely double that, and no-one want to invest big money in MMO’s anymore as they aren’t the cash-cow they once were. Especially as SW:TOR shutting down will make it two Star Wars MMO’s that have failed.

And it would probably have to be something sandbox – I don’t think a themepark MMO is going to be as popular so soon after SWTOR.

I think they can be cash cows when you invest in them and consistently deliver good content like ESO and WoW.

I would be more okay with them bringing back the old centurian PVP sets if they were ranked rewards, Not fucking cartel market items…

And that is the problem, the cartel market team is likely larger and does more work than the Content team…

A version of Deceiver armor is available, glad the team listened to the feedback. Just wish they hadn’t put that strap with two discs in front of the chest. Why would you do that? It just ruins it. Reminds me of the Lana Beniko armor set (the second one with the inexplicable metal piece on the chest). I also don’t like the mask change, the original mask was way better looking, it was sinister. This mask is just standard. Why the Deceiver armor sets were ever removed is beyond me, as is the fact Keith didn’t just bring them back for sale from a vendor like other armor sets. Or if you do bring them back in the cartel market, don’t change what doesn’t need to be changed. I want to wear that armor so badly but this cartel market version just has changes I don’t like. What a shame.

Chaotic Force-Master will look great on my sorcerer.

The pack is good, I like the KDY maintenance lift, the weapons, Sign of Mandalore, melee droid comp & the color crystal.

Not as many deco’s as I’d hoped, but they’re good. Again no personnel deco’s though.

I can live with the discs, and you could argue it balances the look a little… but I could take it or leave it.

The mask though… that has to be a mistake. Why would they re-use the same mask from the Calculated Mercenary set they just released when this one so clearly calls for that other mask from the original Duelist/Force-Master/Force-Mystic set? Like, why on earth would they change that? Hoping this is one of those rare cases where they accidentally botched the screenshot, and the actual armor looks different.

Just lacking the purple of the original (Centurion Force-Master/Mystic), it looks like? Otherwise, seems identical. On behalf of the many folks who’ve requested the return of this armor for YEARS, I say: woo hoo, and about effin’ time!

Thank god. Chest is pretty much the only piece I really want from this set. Best hooded chest in the game by very far.

The pistols are based on the old german Mauser pistol. So I will try to get both swtor versions. I just hope that the metal parts will not reflect too much like some other good designed weapons before, which then became useless for my chars.

What do think even sustains this game? if this game was sub only and had no CS it would died by now. for years there has no new content that is acutal NOT single player content

It been over year since the “announce” new raid and we only have 4 bosses. add that to 3 prior years where there was nothing. they once said we will never go year with a new ops, we all see how well that went.

Ok I may actually pay for that first year pvp sorc outfit. Since it was bound on pickup and never seen again. It glows! lol…

People are so funny always complaining about CM releases. If you don’t like the armor sets don’t get them. If you do? Do. EA learned their lesson with BF2 so they are GOING to keep cranking out cosmetic gear. Deal with it. Players bitching about no content releases are even funnier yet. That “Space Barbie” you keep complaining about keeps your other content funded that you want. Think EA makes its bread off of raids? A wise raid player would encourage people to buy off the CM instead of mocking CM supporters all the time. Don’t bite the hand that feeds…
