  • New Storylines and Daily Area on Ossus – Continue your adventure at Level 70 on the desolate Jedi planet of Ossus with new Republic and Imperial storylines. If your character has already completed the full storyline up to this point, the new Mission will be added to your Mission Log automatically; otherwise, any level 70 character can acquire the new Mission from the terminal aboard their personal starship.
  • Master Mode Gods from the Machine – Defeating the dangerous family of droid superweapons on Iokath will require more skill than ever!
  • Guild Perks – Players can now slot Guild Perks into various rooms on their Guild Flagship. These Perks provide a range of benefits, allowing Guilds to customize how they play.
  • Guild Leveling – Guilds will now level up by earning Guild XP from Galactic Conquests. Leveling provides a range of benefits from access to greater Guild Perks to higher XP, CXP, and Reputation rewards.
  • Guild Interface – The Guild UI has been completely reworked and includes new functionality such as the Guild Log, Guild Inspect, and Guild Mail.
  • Masterwork Gear – From Master Mode Gods from the Machine to exploring on Ossus, players can work to acquire the best gear in the galaxy!
  • PvP Challenge System – Create custom PvP matches against other groups of players! Track your record against other Guilds in custom Warzone, Arena, and Galactic Starfighter matches.
  • Double Event – Earn double XP, CXP, and more from December 20th – December 31st.


  • Companion conversations inside of the Rishi Stronghold have had their camera adjusted to be more consistent with other Strongholds.
  • The Foundry Finisher: Advanced and Foundry Finisher: Elite Achievements will now track progress properly.
  • The amount of Guild Member Ranks has been increased to 20 (up from 10).
  • The character limit for Guild Rank names has been increased to 32 (up from 16).
  • The character limit for the Guild message of the day has been increased to 256 (up from 128).
  • The character limit for the Guild description has been increased to 256 (up from 128).
  • The character limit for Guild rank descriptions has been increased to 64 (up from 32).
  • The price for a Guild Flagship has been decreased to 8 million credits (down from 50 million).
  • Guilds no longer get bonus experience and reputation earned based on their size. This is now dictated by Guild Level. This bonus now also includes Command Experience.
  • Guilds can now ban players by Legacy.
  • Guilds will now receive a 15% bonus to all Conquest points earned once they have committed to invade a planet.
  • The following Conquest Objectives have been added to every Conquest:
    • [Repeatable] Complete any Chapter.
    • [Repeatable] Complete any round of the Eternal Championship.
    • [Daily] Complete round 10 of the Eternal Championship.
    • Defeat enemy NPCs anywhere:
      • [Daily] 100 enemies
      • [Daily] 125 enemies (requires completion of 100 enemies)
      • [Daily] 250 enemies (requires completion of 100 and 125 enemies)
    • [Repeatable] Earn 8 badges in Warzones.
  • The defeat Imperial / Republic Guards Conquest Objective has been removed from the game.

Classes +Combat


  • Gear Bolster for Ranked and Unranked Warzones has been increased to item rating 252 (up from 242).
  • Augment Bolster for Ranked and Unranked Warzones has been increased to item rating 236 (up from 208).

Crew Skills

  • Corrected an issue where some gathering nodes on Dromund Kaas had higher skill requirements than intended.


  • Corrected inconsistent naming between the Advanced Lethal Mod and its schematic.


  • Corrected inconsistent naming of the item rating 240 and 248 schematics.

Treasure Hunting

  • The Treasure Hunting Mission “A Pirate’s Legacy” now grants Grade 3 materials as intended (was granting Grade 2).
  • The Treasure Hunting Mission “The Warrior’s Spear” no longer displays a Grade 10 Lockbox as a Mission reward. This was showing instead of the intended reward of a Grade 5 material.

Gods from the Machine

  • All Gods from the Machine bosses should now be easier to defeat in Story and Veteran mode difficulties.

Items + Economy

  • The Unstable Peacemaker’s Lightsaber will no longer have an unintended texture flicker in some situations.
  • The Holo-Rancor’s holo-effect has been re-enabled (that’s a lot of hyphens).
  • The Preceptor Armor sets no longer say “Lower” in their name as they are full armor sets.
  • The Korrealis Duke SE now has a display image in Collections.
  • The Collection art for the Energized Infantry Armor Set and Galvanized Infantry Armor Set are no longer swapped.
  • The following items are now able to be unlocked in Collections as intended:
    • Cyberglow Mewvorr
    • Model FT-6 Pike
    • Juvenile Makrin Creeper
    • F5-SC Fighter
    • M4-1S Atromech
    • Juvenile Savannah Rancor

  • The “Additional Character Slot” Unlock in the Cartel Market has had its description updated to properly reflect current character slot limits.
  • The Battle-Scarred Demolisher’s Helmet is no longer invisible when equipped on Troopers.
  • The “Hanging Vines” Decoration now applies to ceiling hooks (previously wall hooks).
  • All Toys should now show in Collections when the “all” filter is selected.
  • Unassembled Components can now be redeemed on Ossus for Masterwork Data Crystals up to two times per week, per character.
  • Tier 3 Command Crates now have a rare chance to drop Masterwork Data Crystals.
  • Artifact Lockboxes which contain a single piece of item rating 252 gear can now drop out of Tier 3 Command Crates.

Missions + NPCs

  • The Mission giver M8T-V on Belsavis has had their title updated to “Flashpoint: Colicoid War Games” to properly reflect the Flashpoint Mission you receive upon interacting with them.
  • Corrected an issue where in some situations Bounty Hunters were unable to interact with the escape pods during the “Some People Just Need Killing” Class Mission.
  • Enemies in the Eternal Championship now grant more Command Experience.
  • Coffins will now show up as intended during the Jorgan and Kaliyo Cinematic of Chapter XIII: Profit and Plunder.
  • Masterwork Data Crystals have been added as a reward to various Weekly Missions.
  • Ossus Reputation consumables have been added to Ranked PvP Missions.
  • Prefab MK-4 will now count towards their respective Conquest Objectives as intended.
  • Increased the number of losses needed to complete Daily and Weekly Ranked PvP Missions.



  • Lowered the pop rate for Vandin Huttball to be equal with other Warzones.
  • Players carrying the Huttball can once again use their crowd control break ability, as intended.

Not sure what to say to that as all mmo’s or even anything multiplayer has a grind now a days so either ur living under a rock or just pissed at swtor lol its still funny reading it tho.

Everyone and their grandmother likes to take pop shots at SWTOR because they find it easy.

I don’t play it anymore (back on GW2 for a bit) though I always come to whatever SWTOR post to see everyone be keyboard warriors against a game on another forum instead of posting it over there in fear of being banned or cowardice is how I see it 😛

you arent allowed to post “over there” unless you are a sub. And even then they promptly delete any negativity…

I am playing right now(though,probably,not for long and not that it’s relevant in any way) and I always find if funny,that when in any game community where a wave of criticism rises,there are always this type of shitheads:”Uck,uck,nobody cares about ya,uck,uck,all of ya are just keyboard warriors,uck,uck,if you hate the %x% game so much,why do you still playing” – and similar garbage.
This game is shit – all story content after ROTHC has become a complete joke(I mean,how many evil machine gods were there already?3?4?),one thing that developers cared about was a way to implement a new lootbox type into the game,Stronghold system with huge potential mutated(originally intented to be,i know,i know) into another Cartel Gambling Game for whales.Right know the situation is even worse then before – no players whatsoever,Auction House is dead – there is no game going on right know – you can’t sell reagents,re-sell item sets or weapons just because there is no one to sell it to.I’m not going to talk about PVE or PVP – I don’t care about that,but something tells me(all those pesky haters),that they are not enjoable too.
I am waging this keyboard war for those 3,5 players that still listen because i like the game – I like some of the original storylines,I like the original atmosphere,I even like the strongholds – also they amount of grinding to gain access for needed decorations without paying for them is just insulting.I’m still crying because it’s just sad to see this game in that state and I hope that one day it can get better – it won’t,i know,but can’t help myself.

Mate, Shadow of Revan Prelude (The 4 flashpoint series) was patch 2.10 while SoR was 3.0

They aren’t calling 5.10 the expansion because it isn’t. That should have been clear when they called it 5.10 several /months/ ago.

LOL Increased the number of losses for Daily and Weekly Ranked. That’s going to raise the cost of CMTs then, since there’s a lot of groups that lose a lot, even with trying…

Looks good, but if they still haven’t fixed the activation delay bug on most of the lightsabers I’m going to be ticked off.

It’s pathetic that such a major issue took them this long to correct. No breaker in Huttball is ridiculous.

The only ridiculous thing in Huttball is the Scoundrel/Operative double roll. You can cross so much terrain with that without people being able to slow you down it’s silly. But oh well, no longer my problem.

So they stole this completely from Destiny 2. Masterwork. They didn’t even rename it LOL. Guild Levels and Guild Perks? Right from Destiny 2. Except in SWTOR it’s a massive credit / $$$$ sink of course. Surprise. Also, Andryah is a total piece of garbage and toxic for the entire community and game itself. I wonder if they know how many people are disgusted but her bullshit?

Well they have been saying, Jeasa LS and DS, and a romance option for same gender, and light side, and then I think Nadia and Khem, I hope they still coming back, I only subbed again for 2 months last week because I want my Morose Monster back.

Wow, it just took forever, but finally.

This update is gonna suck. It will be a letdown (like always) with some drab trickle story content and that is all. BioWare (or what’s left of it) is cowardly and won’t push the envelope. This will have ‘Fallout 76’ epic fail all over it.

Unfortunately that’s all some people do. If they don’t like the game, don’t play it. I guess some people figure their high post count will increase their penis size which is quite anachronistic given how Disqus works — I’m quite eager to see what this new storyline has to offer. I haven’t subscribed in quite awhile so if they’re adding additional story content for the new year, then this will be a welcome change and perhaps worth it to sub once again. If not, there’s still f2p.

The funny thing is, if only they tested the story content on the PTS, this delay would not have occurred….just saying.

I only have one question. If I accept the new storyline mission on Ossus, does that assume that I have complete all of the previous (horrific) updates, such as KOTFE, KOTET, Iokath and the Traitor storyline (the only one worth it)? I really don’t care to have unfinished Chapters that I never even started on all of my toons.

I don’t know why you would called them (Horrific) but this is just a continuation of that whole story so why even play then

I am hoping that even in an awkward way, the battle between the Sith and the Jedi will rejuvenate the story component of the game.

The story shown in KOTFE and KOTET to me is the worst crap that I have ever seen in a Star Wars videogame, storywise.

As to why I play the game, the answer is because I can.

it does, you get all the default choices – so basically dark side/sided with empire if you are imperial, light side/sided with republic if you are republic. no romance flags.

If you are Empire and pick Republc are you actually getting the Republic quest? And vice versa if your Republic and pick Empire? Or you getting your old alliance quest but as a saboteur?

My Sorc went republic(RP) but i just get “Empire” Quest with a flavor of sabotage here and there. Some happen by themselves, some you have to do yourself.

Serious question: can you play 5.10 (and beyond) if you didn’t run your character through kotfe/et, like Iokath?? I need to know, I love my main way too much to put him through that whole..mess.

Yes but it sets it to default choices. That means a Sith char will kill Arcann, Senya, Theron, etc and side with the Empire.

World boss mission is bugged, most of the group gets the cheevo and can loot bosses but dont get mission credit….

Some important Eternal Throne companions are lost, not available in the Odessen terminal. Scorpio is bugged, HK-55 unavailable….

I think the WBs are only giving credit to 12 players, this happens with literally every open world raid boss they drop. You would think that something as simple as number of players counted could find its way into mission descriptions.

I realy think they killed pvp with this patch…feels to me like they pulled the plug on gearing up by playing warzones, which is a first. lemme have ur thoughts on this?
