is it worth it to buy the war supplies ?
The bundle’s worth far more than 2400 gems (the two mount select licenses alone are worth that much), so it mostly depends on how many of the items included are valuable to you personally.
No
What’s this? Asura and the Charr have female version of the armor? They didn’t feel like being lazy this time?
The 1 on the Charr looks alright for me. The 1 on Asura… at least make it closer to the Charr’s would be better IMO.
It was never laziness – it was a conscious design choice to make the sexual dimorphism of Charr and Asura to be different than the usual “stick a pair of tits on it” so common in gaming and/or fantasy world design. Therefore, it made sense to use the same armor (or perhaps was a convenient side effect)
Cool story bro. If that is the case, then why is the area covered when you remove all armor?
Well… As it stands the War Supplies is pretty good value, although I wonder if this is ANet’s experiment with introducing “premium subscriptions”, just under a different name. It’s good to see that the Exotic Breeds mounts will be available for purchase separately; I wonder if the Branded weapons will get the same treatment.
Presumably it’s just the next black lion collection after the Defiant Glass.
The Badger Springer is awesome lol
Every time you bounce, you have to yell “HONEY BADGER DON’T CARE!” Even though it’s not a honey badger.
The trouble with these bundles for me is as always finding one where I actually want at least 50% of the items.
Sadly for me the main item, the mount picks, aren’t really of interest since there’s nothing in this new set I really like the look of. Much of the rest is stuff I either already have, or have no interesst in.
Well I guess I’ll be getting the new Ritualist gear
I dont begrudge Anet any fund raising schemes. This slow release bundle is an odd direction though. If you ever planning on buying specific mounts then the bundle is worth it on that alone I guess.
Well two select licenses is worth 2800 gems (1400 ea iirc), so even if you don’t want the outfits, dyes, vouchers or keys, you are seeing a bargain.
Actually it’s exactly the price of 2 select licenses, since they cost 1,200 gems apiece.
Re: fundraising schemes, I’m torn. On the one hand I loathe microtransactions and paid subscriptions in all their forms; on the other hand I want to help ANet out financially given that the company’s obviously had some trouble recently and we won’t see another paid expansion for a long time (if ever).
The gem store becomes a lot more palatable to me when I start thinking of it as a tip jar.
Not sure what prices are like in your currency but the cost of 2000 or 3000 gems is equivalent to a triple A game in my country. I’ve bought the largest supporter pack with each expansion and that s it for guild wars. I’m not putting anymore into it :/
Male ritualist outfit is the Seitung style from GW1.
Female ritualist outfit is the Luxon style.
All the old Guild Wars 1 ritualist armours are on the wiki, here. I still love a lot those… good times.
ancient/kodash one is still the best 😛
died in white it looks like mummy ^^
WTF! The delay of Ep6 is becoming too big, they should’ve released the trailer at least…..
lol
Those weps will match nicely with shatterer’s backpack, and maybe even icebrood gauntlets with the right dyes.
The ritualist gear got me chillin. Wow! Mario
Where can we submit designs for items? Looking for cooler items to be posted.

I can see that the weapons are similar. Who among here have vacancies in their guild? Can we offer our service?
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil. But for most vehicles, the benefits speak for themselves in the long run.
